Objectives

1. Critical & Inventive Thinking

Apply STEM concepts to design, build and improve solutions to real-world problems.
Generate creative ideas and explore multiple solutions through inquiry and experimentation.
Use logical reasoning and basic computational thinking to solve challenges.

2. Resilience & Adaptability

Demonstrate perseverance when projects do not work as planned.
Adapt strategies and designs based on testing, feedback and reflection.
Develop confidence in learning from mistakes.

3. Collaboration & Communication

Work effectively in teams, taking on different roles and responsibilities.
Share ideas clearly through simple explanations, drawings, models or presentations.
Listen respectfully and build on others’ ideas.

4. Digital Literacy & Technology Use

Use age-appropriate digital tools, coding platforms and simple technologies responsibly.
Understand how technology can be used to solve problems and improve lives.

Recognise how STEM solutions can benefit people and the environment.

Description

The STEM Club engages students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics through an integrated, hands-on approach. Through the club, students are encouraged to explore, experiment and discover as they learn to think creatively and critically, while developing care for others and the environment.

STEM education helps prepare students for the future by connecting different subjects into meaningful learning experiences. In the STEM Club, students build problem-solving skills, creativity and confidence as they work on real-world challenges.

Our goal is to nurture adaptive and inventive thinkers who can develop practical solutions to everyday problems. Students learn to explore new ideas, think flexibly and persevere when faced with challenges. We strive to develop every student into a creator, connector and contributor who makes a positive difference.
